Thank you for choosing DailyPhoto. We know that your privacy is extremely important, which is why DailyPhoto is built on a core principle: absolute local storage and data privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data.
1. Data Collection and Usage
We do not collect any user data. DailyPhoto is a strictly local application. We do not have servers, and we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information, usage habits, or device identifiers to any third parties.
2. Photo Library Access
To provide its core visual journaling features, DailyPhoto requests access to your device's Photo Library.
Purpose: This access is used exclusively to allow you to select a daily photo and to display your chosen photos within the app's calendar and timeline views.
Local Processing: All photos you select, along with your journal entries and app data, are stored securely and solely on your device. We do not have access to, nor can we view or retrieve, any of your photos.
3. Third-Party Services
Because we do not collect any data, DailyPhoto does not integrate with any third-party SDKs for ad tracking, user behavior analytics, or crash reporting. Your experience remains completely private and self-contained.
4. Data Deletion and Management
Because all your data lives on your device, you have total control over it. If you choose to uninstall DailyPhoto, your journal entry data (which photo belongs to which day) will be permanently deleted from your device. Rest assured, uninstalling the app will not delete the original photos from your iOS Photo Library.
5. Children's Privacy
Our service does not collect any personal information from any user, and therefore we do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions).
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will reflect them by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
